My Retired Life

Well it has been a while since I posted, my career took me away from a lot of things I enjoy. That all ended in April 2020 with me getting the opportunity to retire. I had a great time working in technology. I was lucky for 30 years I loved what I did. I thought I would be lost without the challenge of engineering systems doing data mining and helping others with technology, but I don't miss the work at all and have found my passions have moved from technology to Crafting. I started Sewing again first to make Masks, that of course the engineer in me redesign 3 or 4 times to create masks that can be wore for a 8 hour day of work, or 5 hour trip thru airports and flying. My love of sewing cam back and the mask making took me onto other projects, check out the Apron I made for my daughter. I also love floral design and anything Holiday. NEW HOUSE NEW CRAFT ROOM

Well its been a busy time and now that things are settled I hope to get back to my blogs.  I have been learning lots of new crafts and my new favorite is digital scrap booking with my new HP Laptop and my up graded Corel Paint Shop Pro Software that I love.  No more paying for backgrounds and embellishments on Shutterfly or other sites to create books.  With the help of the artists on pixelscrapper.com one picture up load per page and done, I love the creativity of it more like my custom paper scrapbooks that allowed me to create one of a kind pages that were an example of my artistic flare. I love my new room custom designed by me.

Hi Welcome to my Blog Kraft Krazy, thats all about my me and the Krafts I love. You will find here links to my Blogs on Jewelry, Scrapbooking, Handmade cards, Cooking and Kids crafts. I love to do crafts and cannot wait for retirement so I can spend all day in my little Kraft room.

Ok so it never looks this neat but hey creative mind is too busy to clean.

I got my love of crafts from both of my parents My Dad did amazing things with Wood and Mom well I don't think there were very many crafts she didn't try and do well.  My room is a memorial to them and that love.  They sit on a shelf and look down at me while I create.

I also have Lucy to keep me company while I create, she usually lays right in the middle of my room so as i move about I have to step around her.
